"Infotainment? What the hell are you talking about?"

Parfaitement, monsieur le premier ministre!

This is the 1988 French televised presidential debate: opposing president Mitterand to his prime minister, Chirac.

Mitterand starts hitting on Chirac, to which chirac replies: " tonight I'm not the prime minister, and you are not the president, we are merely 2 candidates (on equal first round percentage points). you may permit me then to call you 'monsieur' Mitterand "

To which Mitterand replies: " and you are absolutely right to do so, mister prime minister!"

The expression on Mitterands face on the second after this is just priceless...

I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
But seriously: I'm an expat from Luxembourg (the country, not the garden), living in the center of Paris (hence 'Paris 2nd arrondissement'), and currenlty studying architectural history...
