PARIS - THEN and NOW

This new blog section has been on my mind for a certain time now. I finally found a way to put my huge collection of vintage Paris pictures to a good use. Now you*ll find me in the streets restaging the right angles to make old and new match.
Now obviously Paris hasn*t changed much over the last century, the only differences might be the transportation vehicles and the differently clothed people walking around.

Opéra Garnier

Café de la Paix, Grand Hotel

Notre Dame de l*Assomption, Rue Saint-Honoré

Terrace des Feuillants, Tuileries

I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
But seriously: I'm an expat from Luxembourg (the country, not the garden), living in the center of Paris (hence 'Paris 2nd arrondissement'), and currenlty studying architectural history...
