The Cathedral Project I

A little preview on my "designing a cathedral" project. The result might be a bit more monumental than usually planned. Also I rather prefer to call it a meeting place like a forum instead of using religious terms.

    Very beautiful.

If you abandon the religious element, is it necessary to retain the cruciform?

I think the Latin Cross plan is a good way to go. It's not necessarily directly related to religion, just an aspect of Cathedral planning.

I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
But seriously: I'm an expat from Luxembourg (the country, not the garden), living in the center of Paris (hence 'Paris 2nd arrondissement'), and currenlty studying architectural history...
