Monument Avenue, Richmond

516

One of the most beautiful boulevards of the US, tree-lined Monument Avenue is the only street in the United States that is a National Historic Landmark. It runs through the heart of Richmond's historic Fan District and is lined by houses that range in style from English Tudor, Colonial, Georgian, Spanish, Jacobean, Beaux Arts to Italianate.

I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
But seriously: I'm an expat from Luxembourg (the country, not the garden), living in the center of Paris (hence 'Paris 2nd arrondissement'), and currenlty studying architectural history...
