Given the odd shape of the site, two very narrow and long plots separated by Thames Street, the result is a limestone masterpiece. Permission was granted by the city to move Thames Street 28 feet to the north, but the width between the 2 blocks remained very small (35 feet) and makes Thames street look like the empty slot between 2 huge books on a bookshelf.
A satirical drawing of what Trinity Church would look like if the church would keep on speculating in real estate ventures.
