Red Hook, Brooklyn

183

Red Hook, former separate village in Brooklyn settled by Dutch colonists in 1636 and named for the red clay soil and the point of land projecting into the East River, the area is now populated with an eclectic mix of artists and industries, car wrecks and kitties and a lot of personality.

    Bonjour! Cedric,
I have to agree with you, wholeheartedly, each photograph that you have posted here is very different, very interesting,..
    .. and very "eclectic."
    Merci, for sharing!

Kind of looks run down. I like the pictures of the morning glory vines and kitties.

I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
But seriously: I'm an expat from Luxembourg (the country, not the garden), living in the center of Paris (hence 'Paris 2nd arrondissement'), and currenlty studying architectural history...
