"Infotainment? What the hell are you talking about?"

House of the Future (1957)

The Monsanto House of the Future of 1957, where phantastic meets plastic and the housewife is a happily brainwashed Stepford wife.

Legend has it that the planned one-day demolition of the House of Future (1966) ended up taking 2 weeks as the wrecking ball kept bouncing off the exterior. Workers had to cut the house into pieces with hacksaws.

I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
But seriously: I'm an expat from Luxembourg (the country, not the garden), living in the center of Paris (hence 'Paris 2nd arrondissement'), and currenlty studying architectural history...
