Central Park Conservatory Garden

219
The Conservatory Garden is the only formal garden in Central Park and consists of 6 acres. It takes its name from a conservatory that stood on the site from 1898 to 1934. After the conservatory was torn down, the garden was designed by Gilmore D. Clarke, landscape architect for Robert Moses, constructed and planted by WPA workers, and opened to the public in 1937.

I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
But seriously: I'm an expat from Luxembourg (the country, not the garden), living in the center of Paris (hence 'Paris 2nd arrondissement'), and currenlty studying architectural history...
