"Infotainment? What the hell are you talking about?"

The Lyric Theatre, New york

The Lyric was a prominent NY theatre built by Victor Hugo Koehler in 1903 as home for the American School of Opera, which went bankrupt even before the building was finished. It got leased to the Schubert Brothers instead.

In 1934, it was converted to a cinema. In 1996, its shell was demolished and the space was combined with another theatre to build the present Hilton Theatre.

I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
But seriously: I'm an expat from Luxembourg (the country, not the garden), living in the center of Paris (hence 'Paris 2nd arrondissement'), and currenlty studying architectural history...
