Underground tunnels connecting massive archival structures, art deco reading rooms, smelly copy rooms, fascinating hallways, miles and miles of books, registration lines and the most beautiful vestibulum around: Welcome to the Library of Congress, a city concealed underground and inside some of Washington's most intriguing buildings.
Our first part will take us on a general trail, and we will discover the fascinating vestibulum in the second part to come, as well as the main reading room dome interior in the last part.
