Passing in front of a window on boulevard Raspail, you can't miss the Dusty Kitty Window, with its main attraction: Dusty Kitty.
Dusty Kitty actually isn't dusty. It's the window. Kitty is clean. And meditating. Like a statue.
Who is disturbing me in my meditations?
I can has quiet-time puhleez?

Impressive that Dusty Kitty manages to look supercilious despite her position in the window. I suppose all cats, whether window celebrities or not, share that snooty quality.
I love that the cat pretends not to realize it's facing out toward the street, with attitude, only to open his eyes with a squint as if to say, "move along now, nothing to see here"

Love your blog! I too was an expat living in Paris for a time. I know exactly where you rue is! I'll be there this May. Perhaps I will take a gander at your window to see Dusty Kitty. My son in law use to live in the 2e. My daughter and he got married in the 2e city hall.
There is a similarly inscutable cat in a small gallery window in Cambridge. I used to pass this place when I took walks at lunch and never thought much of the art work, it's being somewhat garish. Then one day...there was this cat. My pictures didn't come out nearly as good as yours.
